What is JMAG?
JMAG is electromagnetic field analysis software developed by JSOL Corp, Tokyo, Japan. First introduced in 1983, JMAG has assisted many companies in a wide range of industries, universities and research institutes for the design and development of motors, generators, actuators, circuit components and other electric/electronic devices.
JMAG has seen a large increase in the number of users in recent years. As the popularity of simulation engineering has increased, the JMAG user base has expanded from analysis experts to include design engineers.
JMAG can be used for a wide range of system design problems, including drive circuits due to the capability to link the analysis with a power electronics simulator.
JMAG's high flexibility facilitates improvements in the design and development process through links to various CAD systems and the SPEED motor design tool.
